本标准自实施之日起代替LD 38-1992《矿山个体呼吸性粉尘测定方法》。
本标准规定了矿山个体呼吸性粉尘的测定方法。
本标准适用于矿山和选矿厂个体呼吸性粉尘浓度和粉尘中游离二氧化硅含量的测定。
本标准不适用于纤维性粉尘的测定。
本标准与LD 38-1992相比主要变化如下：
——按照GB/T 1.1-2000有关要求对标准的格式和表述进行了编辑性修改。
——将LD 38-1992中的“工人群”改为“作业人群”、“受测人员”改为“采样对象”。
——删除了“规范性引用文件”内容。
——术语和定义中，“呼吸性粉尘”采用了GBZ 2.1-2007中3.8内容，将LD 38-1992的“接触浓度”改为“时间加权平均浓度”且参考采用了GBZ 2.1-2007中的3.1.1内容，修改了3.5、3.6定义内容，增加了“呼吸性粉尘浓度”定义内容。
——删除了LD 38-1992中有关“测定周期”内容。
——参考相关国家标准修改了LD 38-1992中3.1内容。
——将LD 38-1992中有关“矿山企业”和“矿山分析中心”内容合并，同时修改了文字表述。
——根据现实情况修改了LD 38-1992中3.5采样内容。
——取消了LD 38-1992的3.6“样品的包装与传递”，将其部分内容放入“采样”中。
——修改了LD 38-1992第4章内容，增加了“时间加权平均浓度”。
——删除了LD 38-1992的附录，游离二氧化硅含量的测定引用了相关国家标准内容。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of individual respirable dust in mines. This standard is applicable to the determination of individual respirable dust concentration and free silica content in dust in mines and mineral processing plants. This standard does not apply to the determination of fibrous dust.
