Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of coolants for heavy-duty engine cooling systems. This standard is applicable to anti-rust and anti-corrosion composite additives composed of ethylene glycol, deionized water or distilled water as the main ingredients, adding low-consumption organic acids, triazoles, and a small amount of inorganic salts, defoaming and anti-foam additives, dyes, etc. Heavy-duty engine coolant formulated with anti-corrosion, anti-freeze, anti-boiling and anti-scaling properties. This product is mainly suitable for heavy-duty engines, and is also suitable for engine cooling systems of light trucks, buses and mid- to low-end cars. This standard does not raise safety issues related to its application. Before use, users of this standard are responsible for establishing appropriate safety and health measures and clarifying the restricted scope of use.
