Scope
This standard specifies the basic forms and dimensions of welding butt joints and T-shaped joints for manual arc welding, submerged arc automatic welding, and submerged arc semi-automatic welding (including combination welding of any two of the above welding methods) for 921A and 922A steel. seam dimensions and weld toe trimming. This standard is applicable to the design of welded joints of submarine pressure-resistant hull structures. The design of welded joints of other submarine hull structures and deep submersibles can also be used as a reference.
