Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and inspection rules for the main body assembly of marine shell-type auxiliary boilers. This standard applies to the manufacture and acceptance of marine shell-type auxiliary boilers (hereinafter referred to as boilers) whose design pressure is not greater than 2.5MPa, whose medium is water and saturated steam or whose medium is water and whose outlet temperature does not exceed 120°C.
