Scope
This part specifies the tolerances and machining allowances for steel die forgings (hereinafter referred to as forgings) for marine diesel engines. This section is applicable to structural steel die forgings formed on die forging equipment such as die forging hammers, hot die forging presses, screw presses and flat forging machines, with a mass not exceeding 250 kg and a maximum size not exceeding 2500 mm. Other marine steel die forgings can also be used as a reference.
