Scope
This standard specifies the basis, indicators and methods for rating the main performance levels of ocean transport ships. This standard applies to the following steel motorized ocean carriers delivered for use: dry cargo ships, bulk carriers, liquid cargo ships, multi-purpose ships, container ships and ro-ro ships. This standard can also be used as a reference for the development of new ship types of the above-mentioned ships, as well as the design analysis and analysis of ship type updates of existing ships.
