Scope

This standard specifies the design, requirements and test methods for plastic pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as pipe fittings) for marine domestic water supply and drainage. This standard is applicable to products made of polyethylene (PE100), heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) and random copolymerized polypropylene (PP-R) as the main materials, with nominal dimensions of DN20~DN200 and a temperature not higher than 95°C. Design and manufacturing of plastic pipe fittings for ships and offshore facilities.
