Scope

This procedure is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of fiber reinforced random copolymer polypropylene composite pipe projects for building water supply in newly built, expanded and renovated civil and industrial buildings. Building water supply fiber reinforced random copolymer polypropylene composite pipes shall not be used in indoor fire protection systems and shall not be connected to fire protection water supply systems. The design pressure of the fiber-reinforced random copolymer polypropylene composite pipe system for building water supply should not be greater than 1.0MPa, and the design temperature should not be lower than 0°C and not higher than 70°C.
