《电子式出租汽车计价器》（ＣＪ５０２４―１９９７）行业标准自１９９７年由建设部发布实施以后，对规范生产，保证质量起到了重要作用。但是所涉及到的“打印机”并没有规定详细的技术要求，因此各计价器生产企业所使用的打印机产品其接口形式、输出格式、连接形式各不相同，使产品的互换性很差，给使用、维修带来极大的不便。为规范与“出租汽车计价器”配套使用的“打印机”的技术要求，特制定本标准。《电子式出租汽车计价器》（ＣＪ５０２４―１９９７）行业标准中４．３．１６所述的打印机应符合本标准的规定。
本标准编写时参照了中华人民共和国《CJ/T 172-2002串行击打式点阵打印机通用技术条件》（ＧＢ／Ｔ９３１４―１９９５）。本标准规定了出租汽车计价器微型击打式点阵打印机的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装和储存等。本标准适用于与出租汽车计价器配接的击打式点阵微型打印机。
