Analysis of key performance indicators

Clause 6.2.3 stipulates the requirements for kinetic energy control of sliding doors:
  • Maximum kinetic energy throughout the entire journey ≤10J (equivalent to the energy of a 1kg object falling from a height of 1m)
  • Kinetic energy of the last 100mm of travel ≤1J (achieved through deceleration curve)
  • Anti-pinch force ≤150N (equivalent to the pressure of a 15kg object)
