This standard systematically specifies the quality requirements of inkjet printing equipment in the production of variable two-dimensional codes for the first time, focusing on solving the problems of low reading rate and poor durability of two-dimensional codes in the packaging industry. The standard is applicable to paper QR code printing, and other media can refer to it.

The standard innovatively proposes an inkjet dot expansion compensation algorithm: module width = inkjet dot number/device resolution (dmm). For example, when a 600DPI device sprays 2 ink dots, the module width = 2/(600/25.4) = 0.085mm.

5.4 Ink performance

The ink must not be clogged in the print head protection cover for 72 hours, pass the HJ 567 environmental certification, not fade after 80 frictions, and meet food packaging safety requirements.
