1 Scope

This standard specifies the selection principle of transformer oil.
This standard is applicable to the selection of new transformer oil (unused) adopted by equipment such as, oil-immersed type transformer, reactor, mutual inductor, etc., which include 500 kV (or above) EHV, UHV AC and converter transformer, paralleling and smoothing reactor and mutual inductor.
