Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, sample preparation, summary of the measurement method, specific resistance tester, measurement steps, calculation and precision of the measurement method for measuring the specific resistance of coal ash by the comb method and the disc method. This standard is applicable to the measurement of specific resistance of coal ash and fly ash collected from the boiler exhaust system of thermal power plants in the laboratory.
