This standard specifies the generator set's loss of excitation protection, out-of-step protection, frequency abnormality protection, turbine overspeed protection control, overexcitation protection, stator overvoltage protection, important auxiliary equipment protection, underexcitation limit and protection, overexcitation limit and protection, stator Technical requirements for network-related protection such as current limitation and stator overload protection. This standard applies to steam turbine generator sets of 300MW and above, water turbine generator sets of 100MW and above, and gas generator sets of 100MW and above. Other generator sets may be implemented as a reference.
