Scope

This standard specifies the functional requirements, functional configuration, display items, cost control functions, event thresholds and other index requirements of smart energy meters, and standardizes the terms and definitions of smart energy meters. This standard applies to the design, manufacturing, ordering, acceptance and use of three-phase smart energy meters (hereinafter referred to as "energy meters") in the power industry specifications.
