Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Technical dimension DL/T 2002-2019 requirements Comparison of conventional transformer standards
Protection configuration Mandatory requirement for three-out-of-two tripping logic and shock-proof gas relay Conventional dual configuration is sufficient
Cooling system Dual independent power supplies + forced input function + group delay control Mainly single power supply system
Short-circuit tolerance Need to match the actual short-circuit capacity of the system According to GB1094.5 standard value

Detailed explanation of key technical requirements

4.1 Special provisions for protection devices

Article 4.1.6 of the standard clearly states: When on-load tap changers are operated in parallel, each switch needs to be independently equipped with an oil flow relay, and the installation slope is 1%-3%. Typical case: A ±800kV converter station failed to meet the slope requirements, resulting in protection malfunction, and the operation was stable after adjustment.

Analysis of standard evolution

Main changes compared to the 2018 version:

  • Added installation specifications for fast-acting oil pressure relays (Article 6.3.2)
  • Detailed requirements for detection of aging of silicone rubber for bushings (Article 6.5.1)
  • Supplementary earthquake prevention measures for earthquakes with an intensity of seven or above (Article 4.5.6)

Implementation suggestions

  1. Operation and maintenance strategy: It is recommended to establish a special inspection list for commutator transformers, with a focus on checking the hydrophobicity of silicone rubber for bushings (every quarter)
  2. Technical transformation: For tap changers that have been in operation for more than 7 years, hoisting inspections shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of Article 9.2
  3. Data management: Improve the non-electrical protection action record database and establish a fault analysis model in accordance with Article 7.2
