Key technical requirements

Magnetic balance differential protection

Adopt the ampere-turn balance principle of control winding and grid-side winding, requirements:

  • Differential quick-break action time ≤20ms (2 times the set value)
  • Ratio differential action time ≤50ms
  • CT ratio difference requires software compensation

Implementation suggestions

  1. CT selection: The balance coefficient should be <10, and the CT characteristics of the 3/2 connection branch should be consistent
  2. Settings management: Set multiple switchable setting groups to prevent false operation during the switching process
  3. Grid coordination: Line phase current differential should be included in the CSR current
