Scope

This standard specifies the on-site inspection requirements, test methods, inspection content and cycle, inspection technology, diagnostic methods, determination of defect types and treatment methods, and technical management requirements for the application of ultraviolet imagers to detect corona discharge in charged equipment. This standard is applicable to external corona discharge status detection and fault diagnosis of live equipment, mainly including corona discharge detection caused by various reasons such as the conductor and insulator surfaces of power transmission and transformation equipment and generator bar bars.
