Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the gas content in insulating oil using the vacuum pressure difference method. This standard applies to the determination of the gas content of insulating oil in oil-filled electrical equipment. For the determination of gas content of other oil products with kinematic viscosity (40°C) not greater than 40mm/s, please refer to this standard. This standard is divided into method A (electronic vacuum gauge method) and method B (U-shaped oil column differential pressure gauge method).
