Scope
This standard stipulates the definitions of terms for high-voltage DC ground electrodes, and proposes technical requirements, test items and methods, and general technical principles for operation and maintenance. This standard is applicable to the grounding pole system at both ends of high-voltage direct current transmission systems operating in unipolar and bipolar operations, and is not applicable to the grounding grid of converter stations.
