Scope

This standard specifies the design principles, technical requirements and calculation methods for concrete face rockfill dams. This standard is mainly applicable to the design of level 1, 2, and 3 dams in hydropower and water conservancy projects and level 4 and 5 concrete face rockfill dams with a height exceeding 70m. Level 4 and 5 concrete face rockfill dams below 70m can be implemented as a reference. The design of high dams above 200m should be specially studied.
