1.0.1 With a view to implementing national capital construction policy and technical and economic policy in the design for tower and pole structures of overhead transmission line, achieving safety and reliability, advance and suitability, economy and rationality, resource conservation and friendly environment, this code is formulated.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to design for the tower and pole structures of constructed 110kV~750kV overhead transmission line.
1.0.3 In this standard, not only design principle for tower and pole structures of overhead transmission line is determined, but also design and calculation methods for the angle steel tower and concrete pole are given.
1.0.4 In this standard, by probability theory-based ultimate state design method, the reliability of the structural members is measured according to the reliability index; under the action of specified load combinations or deformation or crack limit conditions, they shall meet the critical state of safe line operation.
1.0.5 The design of tower and pole structures shall be carried out according to actual conditions and in combination with local conditions; meanwhile, new technology, process and equipment are actively adopted, advanced technology and products for energy conservation, consumption reduction and environmental protection are promoted.
1.0.6 New theories, materials or structural types are adopted for the design of tower and pole structures; when practical experience is unavailable, it shall be verified through a test.
1.0.7 This standard specifies basic requirements for the design of tower and pole structures; in case of any conflict between this standard and the requirements of the national laws and administrative regulations, the requirements of the national laws and administrative regulations shall prevail.
1.0.8 The design of tower and pole structures shall not only meet those specified in this standard, but also meet those specified in relevant standard.
