1 Scope
This standard specifies the leading principles to be followed in the design, when the network computerized monitoring and control system (hereinafter referred to as NCS) is adopted in the fossil fuel power plant.
This standard is applicable to the design of NCS in fossil fuel power plant. The constructed network in fossil fuel power plant where the unit capacity is 125 MW or above and the outgoing line voltage is 220 kV or above should be monitored and controlled by the computer. When the unit electrical system is monitored and controlled by DCS, the network should be monitored and controlled by the computer to be in harmony with the automation level of the whole plant.
The power plants in the foreign projects, the extended and renovated power plants of the equivalent capacity or the small and medium power plants with the unit capacity below 125 MW may refer to this standard.
