1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for designing 3kV~500kV high voltage electrical switchgear in constructed projects of power plant and substation.
This standard is applicable to the design for AC 3kV~500kV constructed electrical switchgear in power plant and substation projects. The design for extended or renovated electrical switchgear may be carried out referring to this standard.
The foreign project shall be carried out by considering the local national condition and combining the specific circumstance of project.
