本标准规定了火力发电厂碳钢制造部件石墨化的检验部位、方法、评定程序与评级标准，适用于碳钢制造的、处于高温下长期服役的主蒸汽管道、三通等部件出现石墨化的检验和评定工作。
其他碳钢高温热力设备部件和0.5Mo钢部件石墨化的检验与评定可参照进行。
