Scope
This part of DL 790 defines A-XDR encoding rules, which can be used to derive conversion syntax specifications for numeric types defined in ASN.1 in the DLMS core standard. These A-XDR encoding rules can also be used to decode the transformation syntax to identify the transformed data values. A-XDR encoding rules: a) used in communication; b) is an optimized encoding method for DLMS PDU.
