DL/T 860.6-2012 in English

Scope

This part of the DL/T 860 series of standards specifies the file format that describes the configuration and parameters of communication-related intelligent electronic equipment, communication system configuration, switch field (functional) structure and the relationship between them. The main purpose of specifying this file format is to exchange intelligent electronic device capability descriptions in a compatible manner, and to exchange substation automation system descriptions between intelligent electronic device engineering implementation tools and system engineering implementation tools provided by different manufacturers. The language specified in this section is called the Substation Configuration Description Language (SCL). In the substation configuration description language, intelligent electronic equipment and communication system models are established in accordance with Parts 5 and 7-X of this series of standards. In certain chapters of this part, specific extensions or usage rules for specific communication service mapping SCSM will be specified. The substation configuration description language is based on Extensible Markup Language (EXtensible Markup Language, XML) version 1.0. This section neither specifies individual implementations or products using the language, nor does it constrain entity-implemented methods and interfaces within computer systems. Although the configuration data download format can be used as part of the configuration data, this part does not specify the format for downloading the configuration data to the intelligent electronic device.
