本标准适用于线密度为1.20 dtex～1.40 dtex的有光和半消光，圆形截面的本色缝纫线用涤纶短纤维。其它类型的缝纫线用涤纶短纤维可以参照使用。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of polyester staple fiber for sewing thread. This standard applies to polyester short fibers for natural sewing threads with linear density of 1.20 dtex to 1.40 dtex, glossy and semi-dull, and circular cross-sections. Other types of polyester staple fibers for sewing thread can be used as a reference.
