Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of wipes for clean rooms. This standard applies to clean room and related controlled environment cleaning wipers (hereinafter referred to as "wipes") made of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and non-woven fabrics.
