Scope

This standard specifies the basic functions and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electronic fabric strength testers. This standard is applicable to electronic fabric strength testers used to test the strength of various fabrics using the CRE (constant velocity elongation) testing method.
