Scope

GA/T 379 specifies the requirements for the standard interface between the control and indication equipment (CIE) in the alarm system and the alarm system transceiver, where the alarm system transceiver will be inserted into the standard space in the alarm system control and indication equipment. The requirements in this section are to ensure compatibility between equipment from different providers. This section applies equally to the transmission of alarm information and other information to/from intrusion, fire alarm, exit control and social alarm systems, as well as the transmission of information to/from other similar systems.
