Introduction

Core changes in the standard revision

Revision dimensions 2014 version XXXX new version
Technical equipment The use of drones is not specified New equipment requirements for Multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (4.3)
Photography content 6 types of photography methods New requirements for real-life picture production (4.5) and time information recording (4.11)
Trace processing Covering processing is not specified New photography specifications when the traces are covered (4.9)

Seven types of photography technical specifications

1. Innovative application of azimuth photography

Requirements for drone aerial photography (5.1.2.4): The flight altitude must cover the entire length of the accident section, and the central area should occupy more than 60% of the screen. It is recommended to use equipment that complies with the GA/T 1382 standard, such as DJI M300 RTK.

2. Key points for detailed photography

Tire trace photography case: For side slip marks, a 50cm color scale should be used, and 30° side light should be used to shoot, ensuring that the mutation point of the trace is in the same frame as the scale (5.5.2.1).

Guidelines for Shooting in Special Environments

  • Nighttime in snow and fog: turn off auxiliary light source, control ISO below 400, and exposure time ≥ 2 seconds (Appendix B.5)
  • Highly reflective objects: use a polarizing filter to eliminate reflections from car paint, and keep the light source angle at 45° (Appendix B.6)

Specifications for Photo Roll Production

The new version cancels the requirement for guide lines (6.1.2), and digital photos must be saved in the original RAW format and burned to a CD for archiving (6.6.2). It is recommended to use a professional printer such as Epson SC-P908 for output.
