1 Subject Contents and Scope of Application

This standard specifies the radiological protection requirements of industrial X-ray detection equipment, detecting location and personnel concerned.

This standard is applicable to the production and application of industrial X-ray detection equipment up to 500kV (hereinafter referred to as "X-ray equipment").

3 Terms

3.1 X-ray radiography in special detection room (hereinafter referred to as the room detection)
The working process of X-ray radiography of the internal defects of objects carriedut out in special detection room

3.2 X-ray flaw detection on site (hereinafter referred to as "on site detection")
The working process of inspection on internal defect of the object with mobile or portable X-ray radiography equipment in outdoors, in production workshop or on installation site

3.3 Detection room
The irradiation room for placement of X-ray equipment and for X-ray radiography carried out on the objects to be detected, which with a certain effect of ray shielding.
