Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols and units, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of marine flow control servo valves (hereinafter referred to as servo valves). This standard applies to electro-hydraulic flow control servo valves for various ships and offshore installations that use hydraulic oil as the medium. Pressure control servo valves and servo valves with electric feedback between stages can also refer to this standard.
