《GB/T 11682-2008低本底α和/或β测量仪》由TC30（全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会）归口，TC30SC1（全国核仪器仪表标准化技术委员会通用核仪器和辐射探测器分会）执行，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准代替GB/T 11682-1989《低本底α测量仪》。本标准规定了低本底α和/或β测量仪的技术要求、试验方法和检验规则。本标准适用于测量弱α、β放射性活度或表面发射率的仪器，也适用于多用途仪器中的测量弱α或β放射性的部分。本标准不适用于测量α或β能谱类型的仪器。本标准与GB/T 11682-1989相比作了如下修改：
―――标准名称修改为《低本底α和／或β测量仪》；
―――增加了测量低本底β的内容；
―――“规范性引用文件”中增加了引用的标准；
―――“术语和定义”中增加了“串道比”的内容；
―――增加α与β的相互干扰指标，即串道比指标；
―――增加了仪器电磁兼容的要求和试验方法；
―――增加了对仪器软件的通用要求；
―――删除了“表１　仪器分级”中本底稳定性的技术指标；
―――删除了“表２　改变影响量的项目和要求”中变化限值和本底计数率的技术要求。

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for low background alpha and/or beta measuring instruments.
This standard is applicable to the instruments to measure weak alpha and/or beta activity or surface emission rate. It also applicable to the multi-use instrument when is used to measure weak alpha or beta activity.
This standard is not applicable to measure alpha or beta energy spectrum instruments.
