Scope
This standard specifies the conditions for plastic exposure to wet heat, water spray and salt fog, as well as methods of evaluating significant performance changes after a given exposure period.
This standard generally applies to all plastic standard specimens, products or parts.
This standard separately specifies the following test methods:
- Mass change;
- Dimensional and appearance change;
- Other physical property changes.
