Scope

This part of GB/T 12162 specifies the dosimetry procedures for X and gamma reference radiation with energy ranges from 8keV to 1.3MeV and 4MeV to 9MeV for the calibration of radiation protection instruments, and gives guidance on uncertainty analysis. The methods for generating these reference radiations and the nominal kerma rates obtained from these reference radiations are given in GB/T 12162.1. This section applies to the dosimetry of reference radiation for radiation protection.
