《GB/T 12718-2009矿用高强度圆环链》由603（中国煤炭工业协会）归口，主管部门为中国煤炭工业协会。
本标准规定了矿用高强度圆环链（以下简称圆环链）的术语和定义、型式尺寸、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则以及标志、包装、运输和贮存。
本标准适用于煤矿用刮板输送机、刮板转载机、悬臂式掘进机、刨煤机、滚筒采煤机及其他机械牵引链，不适用于作起重链和悬挂链

This standard specifies terminologies and definitions, types and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high-tensile steel chains (round link) for mining (hereinafter referred to as round link chain).
This standard is applicable to pull chains of scraper conveyor, scraper reversed loader, boom-type roadheader, coal plough, drum shearer and other machinery for coal mine, and it is not applicable to lifting chains or suspension chain.
