《GB/T 12730-2008一般传动用窄V带》由606（中国石油和化学工业联合会）归口，TC428SC3（全国带轮与带标准化技术委员会摩擦型带传动分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了一般传动用窄V带的分类、结构、要求、试验方法及标志、标签、包装、贮存和运输。本标准规定的窄V带适用于高速及大动力的机械传动，也适用于一般的动力传递。 本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１２７３０―２００２ 《一般用窄Ｖ 带》。
本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ１２７３０―２００２相比主要变化如下：
―――提高了窄Ｖ 带线绳粘合强度要求（２００２年版的４．２，本版的５．２）；
―――增加切边窄Ｖ 带的结构图（见图１）；
―――增加包边窄Ｖ 带和切边窄Ｖ 带布与顶胶间粘合强度要求（见５．３）；
―――修订窄Ｖ 带疲劳试验测试方法，由无扭距试验方法改为有扭距试验方法（２００２年版的附录Ａ，本版的６．５）。
Scope
This standard specifies the classification, structure, requirements, test methods, signs, labels, packaging, storage and transportation of narrow V-belts for general transmission (hereinafter referred to as narrow V-belts). The narrow V-belt specified in this standard is suitable for high-speed and high-power mechanical transmission, as well as general power transmission.
