GB/T 12765-2023 "Spherical plain bearing installation dimensions" is the first comprehensive revision since the 1991 version, which mainly optimizes and supplements the installation dimensions and technical requirements of spherical plain bearings. The new standard replaces some technical content in the old version and introduces a wider range of application and higher precision requirements.
2. Design principles for installation dimensions of spherical plain bearings
The design of installation dimensions of spherical plain bearings should follow the following basic principles: The design of shaft shoulders, hole shoulders and fillet radii should ensure that the bearing rings have sufficient support surfaces to avoid contact between swinging parts and stationary parts. When installing radial spherical plain bearings (except W series), the maximum diameter of the shaft shoulder should not exceed the end face diameter of the bearing inner ring.
