Scope
This part of GB/T 13441 involves exposure to human body vibration and shock in buildings related to the comfort and annoyance of occupants, and specifies the measurement and evaluation methods, including the determination of the measurement direction and measurement location. The frequency weighting value Wm applicable to the frequency range of 1Hz~80Hz is defined, and the posture of the occupants in the building does not need to be clarified in this frequency range. While it is usually valid to conduct experimental studies on a building, the concepts contained in this standard should be applied equivalently to that building at the design stage of the building or where access to an existing building is not possible. In these cases, some method must be used to predict the vibration response of the building. For the possible structural damage of buildings, this part does not provide guidance, see GB/T14124 for relevant content. In addition, this section does not apply to the evaluation of impact on human health and safety. This section also does not specify allowable vibration values. The mathematical definition of the frequency weight Wm is given in Appendix A, and the guidelines for building vibration data collection related to complaints are given in Appendix B.
