Scope

This standard specifies the basic technical requirements and test methods of permanent magnet DC tachogenerators (hereinafter referred to as tachometers). Corresponding provisions are made on inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage. This standard applies to permanent magnet DC tachogenerators whose speed is above 1000r/min. This standard should be used together with the special technical conditions for speed measuring machines. The specific technical indicators and special requirements for various speed measuring machines are stipulated in the special technical conditions.
