Scope
This part of GB/T 13663 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations, materials and hygienic requirements for polyethylene (PE) piping systems for water supply. This part, together with other parts of GB/T 13663, applies to polyethylene piping systems and their components for general-purpose pressure water transmission and drinking water distribution with a water temperature not greater than 40 °C and a maximum operating pressure (MOP) not greater than 2.0 MPa .
