Scope

This section gives the animal body resistance values in relation to the touch voltage, the moisture content of the hide or skin and the current path. Currently these impedance values apply only to cattle. Described here is the effect of an alternating sinusoidal current with a frequency in the range 15 Hz to 100 Hz passing through the carcass of a domestic animal. a Note: Unless otherwise specified, the current value in this section refers to the root mean square (r.rll.s.) value.
