Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the specific activity of radionuclides in the primary coolant, steam generator boiler water and steam under the operating conditions of the PWR nuclear power plant, and the method for determining the sources of the liquid discharge flow and gas discharge flow. The source term calculated in this standard is suitable for evaluating the annual average radionuclide discharge released to the environment through liquid and gas effluent streams.
