Scope

This standard specifies the electrical and timing requirements to be followed by Eurobus A devices. Electrical requirements include: a. Voltage ranges for valid and invalid logic states on the bus; b. Required termination network characteristics; c. Required bus transmitter and receiver characteristics; d. Required characteristics of plug-ins connected to the bus . The specified set of electrical characteristics assumes a specific settling time for transitions on the signal lines. Therefore, some specific timing constraints are also specified. These constraints ensure that the associated signal line has settled to the required state before the corresponding control signal transitions.
