——The requirements for the performance of test devices for air filter are added;

——The test method for electrostatic elimination of air filter is added;

——The requirements for standard test dust for dust holding capacity test of air filter are modified and the dust holding capacity limit is added.

This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on HVAC and Purification Equipment of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 143).

The previous editions of this standard are as follows:

——GB/T 14295-1993 and GB/T 14295-2008.

3.7
particle size
geometrical diameter of PMs measured by optical or aerodynamic equivalent methods

3.8

4 Classification and designation

4.1 Classification

4.1.1 According to the efficiency level, air filters can be classified into low efficiency filter, medium efficiency filter, high-medium efficiency filter and sub-high efficiency filter, coded as C, Z, GZ and YG respectively. Among them, the low efficiency filters can be classified into low efficiency 1 ones, low efficiency 2 ones, low efficiency 3 ones and low efficiency 4 ones, coded as C1, C2, C3 and C4 respectively. The medium efficiency filters can be classified into medium efficiency 1 ones, medium efficiency 2 ones and medium efficiency 3 ones, coded as Z1, Z2 and Z3 respectively.
