《GB/T 14598.8-1995电气继电器 第20部分:保护系统》由TC154（全国量度继电器和保护设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准规定了整个保护系统及各组成部分的性能要求。本标准适用于保护系统中的保护装置及与保护装置相连的对其性能有影响的器件。

Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements of the entire protection system and its components. This standard applies to protective devices in protection systems and devices connected to protective devices that affect their performance. This standard applies to the following objects: - manufacturers of protective systems or their components; - users of protective systems; - manufacturers of control panels; - electrical equipment installers; - consultant engineers. Various IEC standards specify the technical requirements for the various components of the protection system, and these standards are referenced in the relevant parts of this standard. Appendix A lists a block diagram of a protection system, which also shows the relevant IEC technical committees that develop technical specifications for the various components of the protection system. The user is advised to make decisions consistent with the provisions of the technical committees involved, which are responsible for the overall protection system.
