Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of uninterruptible power supplies (hereinafter referred to as: UPS) for information technology equipment. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and testing of UPS for information technology equipment. UPS used in other occasions can be used as a reference.
