《GB/T 14791-2013螺纹 术语》由TC108（全国螺纹标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了螺纹的基本术语及其定义。
本标准适用于对称螺纹和非对称螺纹,或者圆柱螺纹和圆锥螺纹。
当对应一个定义有一个以上术语时,应优先选用黑粗体术语。
附录A 列出一些在标准正文内没有给出定义的术语。
与中文和英文螺纹术语等同的法语、德语、日语和瑞典语术语参见附录B。

Scope

This standard specifies the basic terms and definitions of threads. This standard applies to symmetrical and asymmetrical threads, or cylindrical and tapered threads. When more than one term corresponds to a definition, the bolded term should be preferred. Appendix A lists some terms that are not defined in the main body of the standard. See Appendix B for French, German, Japanese and Swedish equivalents of Chinese and English thread terms.
